Look at Ourselves

 LOOK AT OURSELVES.

Some might say God knows my heart, I know I am doing my best to have time for Him, I have personal dealings with Him and I know God will understand me. --- Di ba natin napapansin? puro "I" ang reasons ntin. Ano ang tawag dyan "Justify? or Just if "I"? We are usually saying things about our inner thoughts. That this is me, who cares? I really know who I am....in dealing with God, my relationship with Him and my time for Him. Ganon naman pala, e bakit hindi nakikita sa atin? anyare? bakit hindi nakikita sa atin na we are trying our best on our capacity to prove what we are saying? It's not by showing others that you can but if YOU have a REAL heart for God it will MANIFEST. Gets? Kung ang isang lalagyan o pitcher na puno ng gatas kapag iyong sinalin ay hindi maglalabas ng kape mula dito, kundi gatas pa rin, dahil kung ano ang laman ng lalagyan sya ang lalabas. Unless, magician ka… O diba ang dami sa ating magician? Lahat minamadyik natin for our own benefit and justifications. Ang isang puno ng mangga ay hindi nagbubunga ng ano? Ng KAMOTE! Dami din kamote sa atin e noh? Ano ibig sabihin nyan? Let us give a fun acronym for the word “Kamote”- it stands for “Kapal Mo Teng”.

If we are for God, though we are not worthy for Him let’s give our best, don’t explain just do it if you have time and we all know that we have enough time. It is very hard to believe that most of us doesn’t have time for Him and yet ang dami nating time pag gusto natin ang isang bagay, kahit siguro walang paraan gagawa at gagawa ka ng paraan. Did you see the point?

Let us give samples on how so much “Selfish” we are:

I want to start with on one particular part of the message this morning on our worship service.

GOD: Jesus Christ is praying persistently and pervently at Gethsemane on that night before He was arrested to fulfill the will of God to save us from the bondage of Sin. Gethsemane experience.

US: We are  persistenly and pervently crazy to Ghetsomemoney not gethsemane. Even if we are going to be arrested day and night to fulfill in covering up things for ourselves WE WILL INVOKE OUR RIGHTS AGAINST SELF INCRIMINATION. Ghetsomemoney experienced.

GOD: Jesus Christ died for us

US: We are hardly dying to get the world, to get everything.

GOD: Jesus Christ works on your life 24/7

US: You are sleeping and night dreaming 24/7

GOD: The Lord always checked His Book of Life coz He wants to be sure that your name and my name are still written.

US: We are not reading our bible and yet we can read hundreds of messages in our cellphones, read hundreds of messages in our facebook’s inbox for nonsense things.

GOD: He is giving us everything we need day by day. (Proof? Ask ourselves bakit nagigising pa tayo bawat umaga. Puede naman na mategi kna kung tutuisin diba kung loloobin nya).

US: We cannot give ourselves, our time, our financial capacity and resources. Even if WE HAVE, we always say na We don’t have.

GOD: Wants us to be with Him to have one on one talk in prayer and personal devotions because He misses you a LOT.

US: We always want to hang out with our friends until morning even if we still don’t have enough sleep from work. Friends kasi eh.

These are only few examples on how Selfish we are. Because if we are going to put in writing all of the basis on how “Kamotes” we are baka makapag produce tayo ng largest book content in the world, pang Guinness World Record. Exagerated ba? It is. That’s how exaggerated selfish we are. So don’t ask why like this… why like this? redundant english voc namen when I was in Saudi. Ahahhaha.  Don’t ask na, ALAM NA!

If you want to give what is for God, give it not just Sundays but everyday we are striving to give what is for God. Walang alternate, Sunday for the Lord, Monday kay taning, Tuesday kay God, Wednesday kay Taning. Spiritual adultery na dual citizenship pa. O puede ding DUAL SIM ang character natin, yung isang network mas malakas ang signal kasi dun ka naka UNLI.

Again ung nagbabasa nito sasabhin, ano problema nito ni Coco? Honestly, believe it or not hindi ko din alam. Basta bigla na lang ako makakaisip ng mga ganyang bagay out of nowhere and I want to write it. Because I know ito yung kadalasang Gawain at katangian ng madami sa atin. I am not exempted for this, and so YOU are.
