NAIA Terminal 1 - Total Make Over

YES, It is NAIA TERMINAL 1.   Let me try to write and tell the story of our subject in English language so that our foreign blog readers may atleast understand what we are talking about here. 

I will try to deliver my story right, as much as possible since my English voc and grammar are not that good.  So please try to understand and focus on what I am trying to share on this subject. Are you ready? Hehehehe. Let’s start.  

Well, recently Malacanang has confirmed that the planned make-over of NAIA Terminal 1 will commence soon and as far as what you have seen on the proposed model, this design plan was obviously more presentable and a Class-A by definition only “IF” Mr. Kenneth Cobonpue’s conceptual design will be consider. By the way, Mr. Kenneth Cobonpue’s is a popular interior designer here in Philippines. On the news, the latter will then work with an architecture firm named (Leandro Locsin and Associates) to execute the plan sooner and to finally rule out the notion that NAIA Terminal 1 will be the WORST airport by 2015. That being said, we are on the verge of making this airport rehabilitation project to happen, provided that all things fall into right place.  Favorable objective, right people, transparency and consistency are some of the things that we need to consider.  The stigma of politics and corruption should be put to rest to execute our priorities and achieve our goals. Hey,.. this is what we are all dreamed of, this is what JUAN DELA CRUZ (not Coco Martin Huh) prefers to have for his beloved country.

Going back to the rehabilitation plan of NAIA Terminal 1, there were some arguments that needs to be answered clearly and some of the comments on that article are asking on the extent of this make-over.  Yes it is indeed very presentable and good when you look at the concept model picture above and we can all agree.  But what about the inner appearance?..Hmmmm.. Yes, that should be also presentable as expected.  How about the MANAGEMENT, SECURITY, ORDERLINESS, FACILITIES, STAFF, The HOSPITALITY? the character of those so-called "staffs" that locals and foreign people around the world would deal everytime they will go in and out of the country.  Do I make sense? IS IT REALLY MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES? Or it is still the other way around…because what goes around comes around. It was just almost the same as you acquiring a BRAND NEW LATEST MODEL OF COMMERCIAL PLANE and yet you are assigning the same untrained, unqualified PILOT to operate.  What will happen next? Obviously nobody would want to have a flight with that kind of PILOT because it would surely create errors and later FALL deeply into Marianas Trench located in Western Pacific Ocean. Ahahahahah. Looooosser!!!. Hmmmmm…Im sorry, I want to stop for now guys, Im running out of blood, too much blood coming out from my nose. ahahahaha. J I need a tissue, can I have some??? I don’t want to ask for some tissues from NAIA Terminal 1, coz it’s possible that even though they have a newly renovated building in the near future they may be still lacking and running out of table and toilet tissues. Hahahaha. Kidding. We just hope and pray that the transformation of our NAIA Terminal 1 is GENUINE INSIDE AND OUT.  It’s not about the building or the structure, it’s the INNER THING THAT COUNTS. Hit the bomb!
